Frequently asked questions
What is the tapered annual allowance?
For high earners with adjusted income over £260,000, the £60,000 reduces by £1 for every £2 over the threshold, down to a £10,000 floor. See the taper calculator.
How does carry forward work?
You must have been a member of a registered scheme in those years (even if not contributing). Use the oldest year first, then most recent.
